Currently I’m the Multimedia Editor at New York Magazine’s Vulture, where I write about culture, produce video and curate live events. Before that I worked as a freelancer writing articles for websites and topical jokes for TV. Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. I am now based in New York City, and have called the great borough of Queens home for over ten years. I write bios in the first person because I refuse to engage in a charade.

Production Work

A weekly podcast I produce and co-host alongside my boyfriend John Sartori. He’s a wrestling expert, I know what wrestling basically is, and together we breakdown the week’s wrestling events.

Every year my team and I curate a lineup of panels and events for fans of pop culture looking for a good time. It’s called Vulture Festival and it rocks.
